Three weeks.
That’s it.
I’ve officially survived three weeks of college.
The professors?
I like them.
Actually, I like all of them.
So naturally, it’s time to move on to the more dangerous part of college:
The students.
The Seniors
I’ve met quite a few seniors over the last three weeks.
Not for notes.
Not for attendance hacks.
And definitely not because I’m trying to become the next student politician.
I wanted to understand the GTU culture and, more importantly, see what kind of people are actually around me.
And honestly?
There are some seriously good people here.
Smart, ambitious, building things, experimenting, actually doing stuff.
These are the real gold.
Then there are a few who make me question the future of the country.
But every ecosystem needs biodiversity.
I also discovered GTU Ventures.
Entrepreneurship?
Excellent.
The idea?
Great.
The branding?
Well…
IIMA Ventures called. They want their font back. 😭
Maybe it’s inspiration.
Maybe coincidence.
Maybe the font was just having a very successful career.
Who knows?
I’ll judge the platform by what people actually build with it.
My Classmates
Now, my classmates.
Remember when I called them buffoons in my previous blog?
I’d like to formally announce that…
that was completely accurate.
But somehow, I like them.
They’re chaotic, funny, sometimes intelligent, sometimes questionable, and occasionally all four at once.
And honestly, that’s what makes college fun.
Some of them are genuinely great people.
Some are becoming friends.
Some are still under investigation.
The “Achievement”
There is, however, one phenomenon I cannot ignore.
Some guys seem to believe that talking to a girl is the greatest achievement known to mankind.
A girl says “hello.”
Bro starts walking four inches above the ground.
Relax.
She said hello.
You haven’t founded Skyroot Aerospace.
The sudden change in body language is honestly fascinating.
Scientists should study it.
The Girls
As for the girls…
I haven’t really found many people I’ve clicked with yet.
Maybe that’s because I’ve only been here three weeks.
Maybe my standards are unnecessarily high.**
Maybe they are not my vibe
We’ll find out.
I’m keeping the judgement provisional.
For now.
Three Weeks Down
Three weeks in, and I’ve already met people I genuinely respect, people I want to know better, and people who make me question my life choices.
That’s college.
A building full of completely different humans somehow being told:
“Congratulations. You are now classmates.”
And honestly?
I’m enjoying it.
The professors are great.
The students are growing on me.
The seniors are interesting.
And the chaos…
Well, the chaos is free.
Three weeks down.
A lot more to go.
Let’s see how many of my opinions survive.
